King Consolidated | Permian Basin

The models, imagery, and animations showcased below were created for King Consolidated, Inc., a company specializing in acquiring and operating crude oil and natural gas properties. This presentation focused on the Permian Basin in western Texas, known for its significant oil and natural gas reserves. The animation highlighted the exploration of previously mined sandstone deposits in the basin, emphasizing new extraction techniques such as fracking and, more specifically, King’s horizontal exploration methods.

To differentiate from the standard scientific graphic approach, we opted for a more visceral, engaging style inspired by a BBC documentary. The animation depicted the evolution of the sandstone deposits, showcasing the entire process from formation through perfing, fracking, and extraction. By leveraging high-end rendering and advanced compositing techniques, we delivered a visually striking and dynamic presentation. Additionally, we created graphs and charts to be featured in the accompanying project brochure, enhancing the overall impact of the presentation.
