Don Wall from Don Wall Productions reached out to me to create presentations for the Taylorville Energy Center, a pioneer in the innovative "Clean Coal" process being implemented in coal energy facilities. This process uses cylindrical vats and large-scale filter scrubbers to treat excess fumes typically released into the atmosphere. The system removes, separates, and captures harmful chemicals that can be reclaimed and efficiently recycled, significantly reducing environmental impact.
For this project, I modeled various modules and facilities, integrating animations to highlight the techniques and procedures involved in the "Clean Coal" process. Some of the modules I developed include Acid Gas Removal, Sulfur Separator, Mercury Removal, and Particle Scrubber vats. Additionally, I modeled the Gasifier and Methanator modules, using animations to illustrate their operations. To complete the presentation, I also modeled and animated the massive jet turbine that powers the facility.
